At LP Intensive Driving Courses we offer a network of fully qualified green badge driving instructors that will help you on the road to passing your manual or automatic driving test.
Intensive Driving Courses are suitable for people who want to pass their driving test within a short period of time. LP Driving Lessons and our instructors will create a bespoke training schedule working with your individual needs to ensure you become a safe and confident driver that is ready for the road.
What do I need to start my Intensive Driving Courses
- You must hold a UK provisional driving licence
- You must have theory test pass certificate
To book an Intensive Driving Course with a practical driving test at the end you will need to have passed your theory test. It is not possible to book a practical driving test with the DVSA without having passed the theory part of the exam first. If you haven’t yet passed your theory test we can still book your tuition but would be unable to offer a test at the end of your Intensive Driving Course.
All Intensive Driving Courses packages that are booked once you have passed your theory test include all practical driving test fees, hire of the vehicle on test day and all tuition booked based on your level of ability.
You will have the same LP driving instructor for the duration of your course and you will learn on a one to one basis with no other pupils in the car.
Planning for an Intensive Driving Course
When booking an Intensive Driving Course you need to ensure you have enough available time and flexibility to complete your tuition and test.
How long does an Intensive Driving Course take
Intensive Driving Courses are generally between 10 – 40 hours of tuition taken over a one to two week period. However this is all determined by your level of driving experience and confidence on the road with all courses bespoke to your individual needs.
Typically courses are carried out with 2 – 5 hours training per day with your practical driving test booked for the last hour of the last days tuition. Start times during the day will be arranged directly with your instructor when you discuss your tuition schedule.
A 10 hour Intensive Driving Course would be suitable for a learner driver that has recently failed a practical test. This course would generally be done over a period of 2 – 5 days
A 40 hour Intensive Driving Course would be suitable for a learner driver who has little to no driving experience. This course would generally be done over a period of 8 – 16 days
Unsure which Intensive Driving Course you require
No problem, we can offer a 2 hour assessment lesson to determine which course would be best for you.
Intensive Driving Course can be booked in blocks of 10, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 50 hours.
